On June10, United States is celebrating National Iced Tea day. Therefore, Starbucks will having buy an iced tea, get one free for friend on that day. However, this promotion is valid on United States only.

Most of the consumer mentioned that iced tea is very refreshing and they love it. The drinks is clearly shown in the picture and looks tasty. Besides, two women wearing high class shirts and it creates a high status for consumer when holding Starbucks drinks. Also, the picture is looking cute

The Festival of the Breaking of the Fast, called Hari Raya Aidilfitri, is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims. Hari Raya literally means ‘celebration day’, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the day that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of dawn-to-sunset fasting.




During Ramadan period, Starbucks wants Muslims, which is the largest population in our country, to visit Starbucks after dinner. Usually Muslim will come out with a big family for dinner during Ramadan, therefore Stabucks use "Mak, ayah, adik, kakak, abang, kawan-kawan" which means friends and family to visit Starbucks together.




Starbucks is launching another two types of new drinks which are Double Chocolate Green Tea and Chocolate Blacktea with Earl Grey Jelly. In order to attract more consumer to try their latest drinks, Starbucks has come out complimentary handcrafted beverage promotion. It's only valid during Wednesday and Friday; from 8th June to 1st June 2016; 5pm to 8pm. 

The Double Chocolate Green Tea Frappuccino® blended beverage offers an uplifting experience to the much-loved Starbucks’ Green Tea Frappuccino as a perfect way to energize on a hot summer day. Smooth chocolate sauce and crunchy chocolate java chips combined with our refreshing Green Tea Frappuccino. Topped with whipped cream and a light dusting of Green Tea powder to create an exquisite and delightful experience in every sip.

A layer of refreshing, aromatic Earl Grey tea jelly is topped with a smooth Black Tea Frappuccino. Made from a blend of Kenyan tea leaves and chocolate java chips, finished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of Chocolate Black Tea powder. Chocolate Black Tea powder used in the beverage is made with a blend of Kenyan tea leaf, known to have a deeper, richer flavor with distinctively bright color compared to teas from other parts of the world.

In 1 June 2016, there is a buy one free one on your favorite Frappuccino in Starbucks Drive-Thru Petronas Equine Park, Seri Kembangan, Selangor. Consumer also has the chance to win a free Starbucks T-shirt when a consumer spend RM100 or above in a single receipt with Starbucks loyalty cards.

Also, the first 200 consumers will receive free Macchiato Magnet with any of purchase at the Starbucks Drive-Thru Petronas Equine Park.With the attractive design of drinks and free gifts are given, this advertisement will attract all the coffee lover in that area. Consumer can request the drive thru sticker at the store from Starbucks partner. Lastly, most of the Starbucks drive thru crew are friendly.


Starbucks has come out something special for breakfast and lunch treat. First of all, consumer can add RM5 on selected food items with any handcrafted beverage purchase. Consumer can choose one out of three, wholemeal Kaya Cheese Sandwich,Wholemeal Tuna Sandwich or Tomato Tuna Danish.

Besides that, consumer can add RM7 on the selected food item with any handcrafted beverage purchase for Starbucks Signature Lunch . Consumer can choose either Broccoli Onion Quiche or Smoked Chicken Quiche. 

Lastly, consumer can choose Banana Slice, which Inspired by Banana bread recipe recreated to a banana cake which has the unique softness of a cake texture and chewiness of a bread mouth feel. 

However, these promotion is only available in Klang Valley area.

Starbucks is wishing all the Buddhist customers, partners, friends and family a blessed Wesak Day. However, Starbucks did not gives any special promotion during this day.

In my opinion, Starbucks should put at least a cup of coffee in this picture and persuade customer to enjoy their holiday in their outlets. Also, most of the people will go for shopping during public holiday. Therefore, promotion should occurs to attract the customer. For example, Starbucks can gives a 10% of discount for the customer who paid by using the loyalty card during Happy Hour in 3pm-5pm. Most of the customer will relax and chill after their shopping period.




This is the first Starbucks Gawai Kaamatan card in the world, a definite collector’s item for Starbucks aficionados as it is more than just a stored value card.

Starbucks is launching another two types of drink in April 2016. The new flavors are Roasted Marshmallow S'Mores and Key Lime Pie


The Roasted Marshmallow S’mores Frappuccino starts off with marshmallow-infused whip cream below layered with chocolate sauce and a blend of graham crackers, coffee and milk. Non-caffeine drinkers can opt for the Key Lime Pie which is available starting today, Starbucks combined sweet tangy key lime sauce layered with graham cracker crumble and whip cream.

Starbucks is doing a promotional on this two drinks in order to let consumer to try their new drinks. Two tall sized of this drinks will cost only RM20 on every Friday (from 22 April to 3rd June 2016). Hence, consumer can bring along his or her friend to purchase two drinks in a lower price and try both drinks at the same time.




Starbucks is promoting their several choice of tumblers in Facebook. Barista, a coffeehouse employee can see the personality of their customer in their favorite choice of tumblers. We can see that the barista is introducing a new tumblers in this post.


Whether the weather calls for warm sweaters or sunglasses, Starbucks has the perfect drinkware to keep consumers' beverages warm or cool. Their reusable tumblers with double wall technology and commemorative mugs are specially designed for any season.

To get a 10% discount, consumer can brings along the tumbler to Starbucks outlet when purchase a drink.

Starbucks use celebrity, which is Jackie Chan in this post on Facebook. Most of the people believes what a celebrity said or follow what a celebrity did. The reason is celebrity is more persuasive compare to a normal human.

Besides, the cups are well designed in the post. It looks attractive and different with each other. However, Starbucks should use brighter color on the background in order to attract consumer attention easily. Moreover, the font size of "Jackie Chan" can be a little bigger as well.





Starbucks recently came out with some new flavors for the summer –Summer Berry Panna Cotta frappucinos.

The main thing about these new drinks is that they have panna cotta. It’s that white thing at the bottom of the drink. It’s soft like a milk pudding. Imagine a very soft, smooth, good quality taho, but creamier – that’s how the texture is. It’s nice that they are also very generous with the panna cotta.
Starbucks also targeting those who are non-coffee drinker to try this new flavors of drinks. Besides, new flavors of drinks might lead those consumer to try new type of drinks. However, Starbucks should offer buy 1 free 1 when launching this new drink. Therefore, consumer will bring along their friends together to try the new drinks, and ''Word of Mouth'' will happen when a consumer is bringing another consumer.

In celebration of Mother's Days, Starbucks are collaborating with Clinique Malaysia, one of the shop skin care and makeup stores, to make this Mother's Day an unforgettable one. 

The steps to participate:
1. Post a memorable photo of you and your mom.
2. Tag us on your photo so we won't miss it.
3. Include the hashtag #StarbucksCoffeeDatewithMom.
4. Ensure your post is public! 


Participants are required to LIKE the Starbucks Facebook Page, hence Starbucks use this chance to gain more followers and consumer can check and update future event or new products that launch by Starbucks. However, Starbucks can also request participants to take a picture and hold a Starbucks drink with their mum in order to build brand awareness.


On the 1st of May 2016, which known as Labour Day as well, Starbucks reminds their consumer to visit their Starbucks drive thru stores which located all around the Malaysia. The reason Starbucks would like to remind consumer to visit their drive thru stores is because most of the people will travel during this day. Hence, those driver will notice and check which Starbucks drive thru stores located at and they can have a break or tea time after a long driving journey.

However, Starbucks should shows the drinks in the picture above because I believe that consumer will feel desire and it can attract consumer attention more effectively.
  
Starbucks has a new month calls for a new merchandise and they want to make that merchandise extra special with a little doodle. Also, Starbucks has awesome doodlers stationed to help consumer to make their tumbler with own preferred doodles.
